The Liberty High School band offers a unique, competitive musical education that develops great people through great performances. Currently, the band program offers three levels of concert bands, pep band, jazz band, competitive marching band, winter color guard, symphony orchestra, a "pit" band for our musical productions, and solo / small ensemble opportunities.
Our band director has set goals that are more important than national competitions – the development of our band students as team players – able to appreciate the rewards of hard work and discipline, supporting each other through the learning process, and through successes and failures.
Our students strive to do their best.
They spend 2-3 days / week after school polishing their halftime show to perfection.
They sharpen musical skills with additional individual effort.
They are held to a higher academic and behavioral standard than the general student population.
Liberty High School opened in 2004 on the extreme southern region of the Las Vegas Valley in Henderson. The school has steadily grown from just a few hundred students to over 3,000 students. Liberty High School is proud to have developed extremely successful performing arts programs at their school.
